The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel lands a big uppercut and Carter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carter looks OK. Steel waves Carter back to his feet!
It looks like Shane Carter has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Carter has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steel is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, Steel circles away and we're back to standing.
Steel fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Carter is breathing heavily.
Carter shoots in but Steel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carter tries to get into range but Steel steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Carter! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Steel scores the big KO victory!
