Kubilay is refusing to be controlled, as Everett sits in half guard.

Kubilay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Everett manages to get himself to full guard.

Everett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kubilay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kubilay passes Everett's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kubilay is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Everett!

Kubilay working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Even with his hooks in, Kubilay manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Kubilay working for a choke but Everett is defending well.
Kubilay is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Kubilay is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Everett has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kubilay has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Everett taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kubilay doesn't care though - he's delighted!
