Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Murphy (ranked 8811 p4p, 709 weight class) and Franky Ebb (ranked 6064 p4p, 617 weight class). Murphy comes to the ring accompanied by Róisín Murphy - Primitive. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ebb's choice of entrance music: Running away. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy lands with a slapping head kick.

Murphy moves into the clinch successfully.
Murphy has Ebb pressed against the ropes, preventing Ebb from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A left hand lands to the body for Murphy.
Ebb wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Murphy has him pressed against the ropes.

Murphy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ebb lands a really nice looking cross but Murphy seems unphased.
Murphy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A big right from Ebb misses.
Ebb misses with an uppercut. Murphy saw that one coming.
Murphy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ebb misses with a looping right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murphy moves out of range as Ebb strikes.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Murphy! Ebb is out on his feet! Murphy rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ebb is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ebb is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
