The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Heath.

It looks like Artur Syrowatka has been cut.
Heath slips a jab and a cross from Syrowatka.
Syrowatka throws a front kick aimed at Heath's knee but Heath avoids it well.
Heath swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Syrowatka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Heath counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Griffin Heath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Syrowatka throws a nice looking combination but Heath bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Syrowatka is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heath.
Syrowatka misses with a looping left.
Heath scores with a jab. Syrowatka acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Syrowatka throws a right hand that misses
and Heath counters with a body kick that stops Syrowatka in his tracks momentarily.
Heath takes a swing at Syrowatka's ribcage but misses.
A quick step to the side and Syrowatka tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Syrowatka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Heath counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Syrowatka steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Heath. That one must have hurt.
Syrowatka throws a right and a left that both miss.
Heath scores with a shot to the body.
Syrowatka is breathing heavily.

Heath lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Syrowatka cracks Heath with a right hand to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Syrowatka. Heath does a little dance to reset his feet.

Heath cracks Syrowatka with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Heath has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Syrowatka to stand back up!

Syrowatka is rocked!

Syrowatka drops his hands for a split second and Heath immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Syrowatka face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Heath follows up with a right hand that knocks Syrowatka into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

A very excited looking Griffin Heath rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
