The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melamies moves away from the strike by Modesto.
Modesto misses the shot to the body.
Melamies cracks Modesto with a good jab.
Melamies throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Modesto moves out of range as Melamies strikes.
Modesto throwing a counter right hand but Melamies manages to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Modesto.
Modesto throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Melamies with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Modesto moves out of range of the strikes.
Modesto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Melamies lands a lovely overhand right.
Melamies feints and then cracks Modesto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Modesto down.
Modesto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Modesto sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Modesto is rocked!
Melamies connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Modesto to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Melamies!
