The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slaughter looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Slaughter thows a huge punch but Mitarashi dodges it nicely.
Slaughter working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Slaughter is nestled in close to Mitarashi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slaughter uses his free foot to push down on Mitarashi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mitarashi.

Slaughter sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Mitarashi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slaughter on the ground.
The referee warns Mitarashi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Slaughter breaks from Mitarashi's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slaughter cracks Mitarashi with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
