Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raul Salvatierra (ranked 22265 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vardy (ranked 20086 p4p, 0 weight class). Vardy has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Vardy looks winded!
Vardy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vardy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Raul Salvatierra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salvatierra drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Vardy right on the button. Vardy goes down! Salvatierra follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Salvatierra gets the win via TKO!

Raul Salvatierra decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
