Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Fromm (ranked 4278 p4p, 494 weight class) and Clinton Smaxsons (ranked 7720 p4p, 0 weight class). Fromm comes to the cage accompanied by The Village People-YMCA. Smaxsons has chosen "X gon' give it to ya" by DMX as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clinton Smaxsons!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaxsons on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fromm is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fromm throws a sloppy head kick
and Smaxsons makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fromm takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fromm shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smaxsons but Smaxsons pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fromm swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fromm doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Smaxsons to counter with a crisp jab.

and Smaxsons counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Fromm. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fromm swings for the body but Smaxsons moves out of range.

Oooooh!!! Smaxsons has knocked Fromm down with a huge combo! Smaxsons steps away and waves a wobbly Fromm back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fromm gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Smaxsons points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Fromm wakes up just in time to hear Smaxsons thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clinton Smaxsons!
In his post fight interview, Clinton Smaxsons gave a big smile as he said 'I had my very first fight in this company and since then I've been knocking out my opponents time after time. I'm putting DFC Las Vegas on notice. It is my time for that belt. So shine it up real nice and prepare to give it to it's rightful owner!'.
Steven Fromm was interviewed post fight and said 'I got have naked and wrestled another man, that's still a win in my book...'.
