Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Very Rounded (ranked 3198 p4p, 381 weight class) and Justin White (ranked 2277 p4p, 290 weight class). Very Rounded has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Very Rounded!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin White!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White dives in and grabs Rounded's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rounded pushes down on White's head and hops out.
Rounded misses with a series of wild punches.
Rounded fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice uppercut there from Rounded.
Rounded lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
White fails with a takedown attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rounded utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
White tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rounded just stands there and leans against the cage.
I was talking to Rounded's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Very Rounded has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin White.

Rounded presses White against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

White has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Rounded seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if White can turn it around.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rounded lands a straight punch to the body, keeping White at a distance.

Rounded fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with White, pushing him back against the cage.

White is trying to pull guard but Rounded has him pressed against the cage.
Rounded lands an elbow that stopped White in his tracks for a moment.
Rounded working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Rounded throws a punch but it's blocked by White.
Rounded lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

White takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
White takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

White takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Very Rounded is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Rounded lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Very Rounded is winning the standup battle so far.
White shoots and misses
and Rounded counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rounded misses with a head kick.
Rounded connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
White blocks a head kick by Rounded.
As Rounded backs off White throws a huge counter combo but Rounded manages to avoid it all.
Very Rounded is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rounded using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Rounded creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through White's defenses.
White managing to block the knees to the body from Rounded.
White is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

White stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Rounded lands an elbow just above White 's eye.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rounded pulls his leg out and moves away.

Rounded lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
White is still on wobbly legs! Can Rounded finish him?
Rounded is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rounded throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely.
White seems to have recovered his senses.
Rounded will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

White is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rounded is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rounded has escaped and now he's on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rounded lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Rounded moves into the clinch successfully.
White jumps guard but Rounded stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rounded pushes off an throws an elbow but White leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

White is trying to pull guard but Rounded has him pressed against the cage.

Rounded connects with a nasty looking knee right to White's face.

White is trying to break the clinch but Rounded is controlling him.
White tries to pull guard but Rounded won't allow it.
Justin White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
White changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rounded fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rounded tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rounded, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
