Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Kelly (ranked 3105 p4p, 306 weight class) and Jake Chimper (ranked 4221 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly pushes Chimper up against the cage in a clinch.

Chimper has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kelly uses from the top position.
Kelly tries to stand but Chimper is controlling from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kelly wants to get up but he can't break Chimper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Chimper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kelly controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chimper is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kelly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chimper.

Kelly is looking for a triangle but Chimper pushes his legs off easily.

Chimper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kelly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chimper has managed to get both his arms back between Kelly's legs - danger averted.

Kelly definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kelly working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chimper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kelly is tightening it up a little... Chimper has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chimper reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chimper taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kelly!
