The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Butikol.

Phoenix gets a takedown into half guard.

Phoenix gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Butikol fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Phoenix, pushing him back against the cage.
Phoenix avoiding damage as Butikol throws knees to the body.
Nice elbow from Butikol.
Butikol misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Phoenix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Butikol takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Phoenix lands a big head kick that sends Butikol tumbling to the mat! Phoenix takes a step backwards and waves Butikol back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Butikol is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Butikol tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Butikol is still on wobbly legs! Can Phoenix finish him?
Phoenix connects with a nice cross there... Butikol is looking wobbly and Phoenix recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Butikol to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Phoenix jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
