Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Saiyan Southbrook (ranked 5394 p4p, 589 weight class) and Liam McGuiness (ranked 3053 p4p, 385 weight class). McGuiness has chosen The Boys are Back by Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. Saiyan Southbrook has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A slow jab from Southbrook misses its intended target.
Saiyan Southbrook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from McGuiness misses.
Southbrook throws a hook to the side of McGuiness's head but McGuiness sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McGuiness counters with a body kick.
Nice uppercut there from Southbrook.
Southbrook closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
We've been informed that McGuiness has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Southbrook breaks the clinch.

and McGuiness counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Saiyan Southbrook has been cut.
Southbrook clinches up with McGuiness and pushes him back against the ropes.
McGuiness digs a right hand into Southbrook's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Southbrook's gas tank.
McGuiness breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Southbrook looks to throw the jab but McGuiness is out of range.

McGuiness throws a fast counter high kick but Southbrook manages to duck under it in time.
Southbrook has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
McGuiness pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Southbrook falls off balance throwing a combination
and Southbrook takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Southbrook throws a head kick that misses.
Southbrook lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGuiness circles away quickly and effectively.
McGuiness thows a left - swing and a miss!
Southbrook will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Southbrook looks to land a combination but McGuiness avoids it well.
McGuiness takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Southbrook moves to clinch but McGuiness breaks away
and McGuiness counters with a beautiful hook that drops Southbrook to the mat! Will Southbrook be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent McGuiness to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Southbrook is up. He looks OK to continue.
Southbrook is rocked!

Southbrook misses with a right hand
and McGuiness counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Southbrook out cold! What a finish! McGuiness is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
