Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Kevaughn Aldridge (ranked 4940 p4p, 561 weight class) and William Booth (ranked 3424 p4p, 427 weight class). Aldridge comes to the ring accompanied by Smooth Criminal By Michael Jackson. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kevaughn Aldridge!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Booth!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Aldridge, as that shot connected.
Booth uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aldridge.
Aldridge throws a lazy head kick
and Booth counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Booth scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Aldridge keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Booth.
Aldridge went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Booth misses with a straight right.
Booth tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aldridge swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Booth throws a shot from downtown. Aldridge moves away and avoids it.
Booth listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Aldridge lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like William Booth has been cut.

Aldridge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Booth connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Aldridge scrambles back to his feet.
Booth throws a chopping leg kick but Aldridge manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Booth looks to land a right hand but Aldridge moved out of range.
Aldridge throws a sloppy head kick and Booth moves out of range easily.
Aldridge throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Booth throws a hook but Aldridge avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Booth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That kick from Aldridge tenderised Booth's leg. Booth is trying to keep his angry face on.
Booth avoids the head kick by Aldridge.
Aldridge walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Booth lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Booth thuds a left hand into Aldridge's body.
Booth looks to score with a jab to the body but Aldridge is just out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Booth takes one to the chin there.
Booth has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Aldridge lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Aldridge throws a head kick but Booth moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Booth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Booth throws a looping overhand right but Aldridge ducks down to avoid it.
Aldridge is looking for a counter combo.
Aldridge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Aldridge tries to bum rush Booth with a series of wild strikes but Booth uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Aldridge has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Booth.
Booth listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Aldridge takes a shot right to the bread basket.

and Booth connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aldridge takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A nice inside leg kick there by Booth. That's going to slow Aldridge down.

Aldridge ducks under a wild hook from Booth.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Booth takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Booth counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Booth comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Aldridge looks to score with a jab to the body but Booth is just out of range.
Booth scores with a one two! Aldridge had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Aldridge keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Booth lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aldridge circles away quickly and effectively.
Aldridge throws a low kick but Booth moves out of range easily.
Booth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aldridge.

Booth swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Aldridge throws a sloppy head kick and Booth moves out of range easily.
Booth takes a swing at Aldridge's ribcage but misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab lands there for Booth.
Booth catches Aldridge napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Aldridge crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Booth raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
