Mayfield drives through with a takedown into Hodges's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hodges looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mayfield is one step ahead there.
Mayfield throws a big right hand that misses.
Hodges looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Hodges is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mayfield drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hodges dives on top into guard.

Mayfield is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hodges is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hodges is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mayfield has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hodges is looking to defend but Mayfield has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hodges! Mayfield pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hodges taps out and this one is all over!
