Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Bronson (ranked 680 p4p, 79 weight class) and Ichabod Crane (ranked 801 p4p, 87 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 34 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ichabod Crane!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson throws a hook but Crane avoids it easily.
Bronson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bronson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crane eats them both and turns towards Bronson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Crane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bronson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Crane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Crane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bronson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
