Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Evela (ranked 8065 p4p, 727 weight class) and Lavonde Tyrone (ranked 9732 p4p, 771 weight class). Evela's entrance music is Face The Pain. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrone lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Tyrone darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tyrone trying to control the action but Evela is working from the bottom.
Evela tries to kick Tyrone off but Tyrone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Evela wants to improve his position but Tyrone is controlling well.
Tyrone working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Tyrone slips a nice elbow through Evela's hands, connecting with Evela's forehead.

Tyrone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Evela doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tyrone.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Evela looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tyrone! Submission of the night perhaps?
