Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Manning (ranked 2924 p4p, 342 weight class) and Niko Diaz (ranked 5748 p4p, 571 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Manning might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jiu-Jitsu. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Niko Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Manning.
Manning takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Diaz looks to land a body kick but Manning moved away.
Manning shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diaz defends it nicely.
Manning will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Diaz swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peyton Manning. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Manning ducks under a wild hook from Diaz.
Diaz lunges at Manning with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Manning's hand.
Diaz lands a slapping body shot.
Diaz throws a big shot that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manning shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Diaz as he jumps to the side.
Diaz looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Manning fails to land the takedown.
Diaz gets caught napping as Manning dives in and scores a takedown. Diaz manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diaz working a defensive guard but Manning manages to pass into side control anyway.
Manning is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Diaz is trying to escape and Manning transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Diaz is forced to tap! Nice work there by Manning! Very nice indeed!
