The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcelo throws a lazy right hand but Gianna sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gianna throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Jorginho Marcelo has been cut.
Marcelo misses with an uppercut
letting Gianna counter with a right hand.
Gianna getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Marcelo looks for a takedown but Gianna sprawls well.
Marcelo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gianna lands with an uppercut that bounces Marcelo off the cage and back into range.
Gianna scores with a jab to the head.
