Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mathis Malen (ranked 22294 p4p, 748 weight class) and Micheal Jones (ranked 22412 p4p, 794 weight class). Mathis Malen had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Malen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Jones!
Malen controls the position from side control.
Malen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jones is letting Malen control him for a moment.
