Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lelis (ranked 6109 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Adios (ranked 8164 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adios closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lelis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lelis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Adios misses with a series of wild punches.
Adios tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lelis swivels and escapes.
Adios shoots in for a takedown but Lelis shows good takedown defense.
Adios misses with a double jab.

Lelis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Adios is trying to escape back to his feet but Lelis uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Adios swings away with a body shot that misses
and Lelis counters with a stiff right hand.
Lelis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adios sprawls well. Adios wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lelis gets slowly back to his feet.

Lelis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Adios tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lelis is in Adios's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lelis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Adios has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lelis has managed to get both his arms back between Adios's legs - danger averted.

Adios controls Lelis momentarily but Lelis frees himself.

Lelis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Adios tries to work over Lelis's front leg with a kick but Lelis checks it.
Nice takedown defense from Lelis. No joy for Adios on that attempt.

Adios tries to escape but Lelis is in control.

Lelis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lelis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Adios to the mat! Adios manages to get full guard.
Adios wants to stand up but Lelis is controlling him.

Adios really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lelis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lelis gets to his feet. Adios looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lelis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Adios is breathing heavily.
Lelis keeps the fight on the outside.

Lelis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lelis lands in his opponent's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Adios throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lelis escapes and throws Adios's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lelis works to advance to full mount. Adios defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Lelis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Adios is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Adios in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Adios reaches up to try and control the position but Lelis seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Adios rolls and tries to escape and now Lelis has his back!
Lelis controls the action.

Lelis is working for a rear naked choke. Adios is not defending it well and Lelis has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Adios refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Adios's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
