Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Neffgen (ranked 5115 p4p, 552 weight class) and Alexei Sokolov (ranked 1735 p4p, 231 weight class). Sokolov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bapki -Zoo in Space. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Neffgen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Neffgen is looking to clinch but Sokolov is avoiding it.
Sokolov avoids the head kick by Neffgen.
Sokolov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nice takedown defense from Sokolov. No joy for Neffgen on that attempt.
Sokolov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Neffgen on his heels. He'll look to pass Neffgen's guard now, I'm sure.
Neffgen is breathing heavily.
Neffgen is working an open guard so Sokolov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Sokolov cracks Neffgen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Neffgen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sokolov finish him?

Sokolov is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Neffgen is in big trouble! Sokolov is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Neffgen. Poor guy.
