The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krank wants to clinch

and Blake counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Blake controlling from the top position.

Krank throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Blake escapes and throws Krank's legs to the side, diving into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krank is trying to improve his position.

Krank sneaks back into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blake working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Blake perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Krank wants to control but Blake is keeping busy.
Krank tries to roll over but Blake keeps him under control.

Krank is trying to control but can't.
Blake is taking a breather. Krank says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Krank is trying to control Blake's posture. Blake takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Krank! Blake is rotating here... this could be the end... Krank is out! Blake has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
