Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryuuji shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nambatac as he avoids it easily.
As Ryuuji backs off Nambatac throws a huge counter combo but Ryuuji manages to avoid it all.
Nambatac misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ryuuji attempts a counter takedown but Nambatac avoids it well and moves away.
Nambatac swings widly with a right hand
and Ryuuji counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Nambatac keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ryuuji throws a head kick but Nambatac moves out of range.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Nambatac has eaten all the pies!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Ryuuji is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Nambatac in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
