PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Ryan Tubridy (ranked 22036 p4p, 368 weight class) and Colin Monroe (ranked 20119 p4p, 344 weight class). Tubridy comes to the ring accompanied by Late Late theme tune. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Tubridy misses its intended target.
Tubridy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Tubridy misses with a combination
letting Monroe counter with a right hand.
Tubridy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Monroe misses with a kick to the body
and Monroe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tubridy misses with a hook. Monroe ducked under it nicely.
Tubridy swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Monroe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Monroe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tubridy.
Monroe loads up on a big right hand but Tubridy slips the punch.
Tubridy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tubridy digs a good body shot into Monroe's ribs.
No joy there for Tubridy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tubridy misses with an uppercut. Monroe saw that one coming.
Monroe tries a quick counter leg kick but Tubridy is wise to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tubridy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Monroe scores with a hook.
A left lands for Tubridy.

Monroe dips to his left and cracks Tubridy with an uppercut!
Monroe lands a really nice looking cross but Tubridy seems unphased.
Tubridy throws a right hand that Monroe ducks under and follows up with a left that Monroe also avoids with ease.
