Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downem moves forwards but Teller connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Teller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Downem has his takedown stuffed
and Teller counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Downem closes the distance looking to clinch
and Teller counters with a low kick, right behind Downem 's knee.
Teller lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Teller throws a good cross that connects.
Teller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Downem takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Teller lands a slapping body shot.
Teller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice body kick from Teller.
Teller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Downem. Downem circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Downem tries to score a power double leg takedown but Teller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Downem somewhat.
Teller chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Downem takes one to the chin there.
Teller fakes the leg kick and cracks Downem in the body.
Teller scores with the left hand. Downem knows he should have avoided that one.
Teller lands a nice leg kick that just misses Downem's sensitive parts.
Teller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Downem.
Teller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takem Downem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Downem shoots and misses

Teller thuds a left hand into Downem's body.

Downem gets tackled into the cage by Teller. Teller maintains the clinch.
Downem takes an elbow to the temple.

Downem is rocked!

It looks like Takem Downem has been cut.
Teller has Downem pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Downem is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Teller - that's hurt Downem badly! Oh, another knee lands and Downem is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Downem doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jax Teller!
A relieved looking Jax Teller thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
