The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marynczak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cox's guard.

Cox is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Marynczak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cox has him pressed against the cage.

Cox gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Marynczak is trying to get back to full guard.
Cox drops an elbow to the side of Marynczak's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cox tries to pass to full mount but Marynczak defends it.
Marynczak makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marynczak.

Marynczak isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cox stacks Marynczak on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cox!
