Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Romero (ranked 8358 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Van Anderson (ranked 5064 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Anderson has chosen Ain't my bitch as his entrance music. Theodore Van Anderson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero avoids a punch combination nicely.
Van Anderson slips under a jab from Romero.
Van Anderson misses with a head kick.

It looks like Vincent Romero has been cut.
Romero gets caught flat footed, as Van Anderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Romero really is a fat lump.
Van Anderson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Romero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Van Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Van Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Anderson wants to control from the top but Romero keeps moving.

Romero bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Van Anderson's guard.

Van Anderson has momentary wrist control but Romero slips an elbow through the middle.

Romero is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Van Anderson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Romero stacks Van Anderson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Romero!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Romero controls the position.
Romero decides to stand back up.
Van Anderson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Romero is breathing heavily.
Van Anderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Romero.
Van Anderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Van Anderson moves to clinch but Romero breaks away
and Romero counters with a series of strikes. Van Anderson will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Van Anderson scores with the left hand. Romero knows he should have avoided that one.
Van Anderson tries to clinch but Romero moves out of range.
Romero appears to be looking for a big counter.
Romero throws a wild hook but Van Anderson just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Romero gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Van Anderson raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Theodore Van Anderson!
Theodore Van Anderson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
