Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominic Donnelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Zabijaka!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabijaka takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Donnelly throws a body shot but no joy.
Donnelly connects with a body shot that sends Zabijaka's belly button to the back.
Zabijaka throws a right hand that Donnelly ducks under and follows up with a left that Donnelly also avoids with ease.

Zabijaka takes the fight into the clinch.
Zabijaka blocks an elbow strike.
Donnelly lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Donnelly breaks the clinch.
Zabijaka throws a one two combo.
A decent looking cross lands there for Zabijaka.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zabijaka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Donnelly.

Donnelly's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Zabijaka tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Donnelly lands with a hook. Zabijaka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Donnelly lands a nice shot to the body.
Zabijaka takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Donnelly connects with a crisp jab.
Zabijaka sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Donnelly fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zabijaka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Donnelly is looking to wear down Zabijaka with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Donnelly fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Donnelly.
Donnelly scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Donnelly connects with a body shot that sends Zabijaka's belly button to the back.
Donnelly changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zabijaka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Donnelly lands a nice shot to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Donnelly lets loose with a powerful body kick. Zabijaka will feel that in the morning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donnelly drops Zabijaka with a beautiful combination! Zabijaka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Donnelly is looking for the KO!


Zabijaka is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Donnelly connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Zabijaka tumbling to the canvas! Donnelly pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Zabijaka was done - good stoppage!
