Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lowell Bockert (ranked 3672 p4p, 123 weight class) and Prince Goro (ranked 3967 p4p, 134 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goro is looking to clinch but Bockert is avoiding it.
Goro fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bockert is defended easily by Goro.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Goro! But no joy.
Goro tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bockert manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Goro gets a clinch.
Goro scores with a shot to the side of Bockert's head.
Goro lands a right hand.
Bockert is looking to take this one to the mat.

Goro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bockert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Goro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bockert looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bockert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bockert!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Goro is trying to buck Bockert off.

It looks like Prince Goro has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bockert has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Prince Goro's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Lowell Bockert was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
