Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Leagatius (ranked 916 p4p, 104 weight class) and Kyle Goose (ranked 1466 p4p, 163 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Goose blocks a leg kick.
Goose thows a left - swing and a miss!
Leagatius throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leagatius moves out of range of the strikes.

Goose throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Leagatius sees it coming and avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Leagatius tries to bum rush Goose with a series of wild strikes but Goose uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As Goose tries to get set, Leagatius tries to push him back and clinch up but Goose manages to avoid the attempt.
Goose blocks a low kick nicely.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Goose creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Leagatius works on Goose 's body with a couple of short punches.

Goose is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Leagatius tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

and Goose counters with a right hand to the body.
Goose fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leagatius manages to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Leagatius on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Goose fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leagatius.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leagatius is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goose .
