Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avery Nijholt (ranked 2686 p4p, 339 weight class) and Makonouchi Ippo (ranked 2463 p4p, 313 weight class). Ippo has chosen Zenbonzakura as his entrance music. Makonouchi Ippo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ippo glances at the clock... BAM! Nijholt nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Ippo crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Ippo is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

A pretty intense looking Avery Nijholt took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
