Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gustavo Fring (ranked 2816 p4p, 354 weight class) and Trevor Burrows (ranked 2713 p4p, 343 weight class). Burrows has chosen Calm - No problem as his entrance music. The key to victory for Gustavo Fring has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burrows misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fring.
A big right from Burrows misses.
It looked like Fring wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Burrows has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Burrows clinches up with Fring and pushes him back against the cage.
Burrows tries to work over Fring's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A head punch on the inside from Burrows fails to land.
Fring tries to throw a body punch but Burrows avoids it by throwing Fring back against the cage.
Fring cracks Burrows with a nice body shot.

Burrows has hold of one of Fring's legs. Fring is fighting the takedown attempt but Burrows gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Burrows swings around for an armbar but Fring sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Burrows's guard.
Burrows wants to sweep here but Fring controlling him for the moment.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fring trying to control but Burrows is working from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burrows is still trying to improve position.
Fring slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Burrows throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fring uses it to pass to side control.
Fring wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burrows keeps working.

Burrows is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Fring throws a lazy right hand but Burrows sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Fring throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burrows uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fring.
Burrows let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Gustavo Fring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burrows swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fring counters with a stiff right hand.
Fring darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Fring avoids the body shot from Burrows.
Fring scores with the left hand. Burrows knows he should have avoided that one.
Fring jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And Burrows tries to counter it with a takedown but Fring pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fring lands a nice looking body shot.
Fring avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fring lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gustavo Fring dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A combination from Fring does no damage.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Burrows, as that shot connected.
Fring throws out a powerful jab.

Fring measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Burrows! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

A relieved looking Gustavo Fring thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
