Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Distacio Jr (ranked 2697 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Hudson (ranked 8882 p4p, 0 weight class). Louis Hudson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Distacio Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Louis Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Distacio Jr scores with a punch to the head.
Hudson shoots for a double leg takedown but Distacio Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Hudson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hudson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Distacio Jr tries to avoid it but Hudson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Distacio Jr to the ground. Distacio Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Distacio Jr lands a leg kick that knocks Hudson off balance momentarily.
Louis Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Distacio Jr connects with an inside leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Distacio Jr drives through and clinches with Hudson against the cage.

Distacio Jr scores a nice knee to the body.
Distacio Jr is pressed up against the cage. Hudson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Distacio Jr down to the mat. Distacio Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Harry Distacio Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Hudson.
Hudson fails with a takedown attempt.
Distacio Jr has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hudson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Distacio Jr swivels and escapes.
Distacio Jr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Distacio Jr lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hudson will feel that in the morning.
Distacio Jr lands with a hook. Hudson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hudson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Distacio Jr lands a nice looking body shot.
Hudson looks winded!
Distacio Jr lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Distacio Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Distacio Jr lands a two punch combo.
Distacio Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Distacio Jr lands a left and a right that send Hudson crashing to the mat, dazed. Distacio Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hudson is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Distacio Jr circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Hudson tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Distacio Jr wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Harry Distacio Jr!
An out of breath Harry Distacio Jr thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
