The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong Man lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Slater at a distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Chong Man.
Slater really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Chong Man tries a head kick but it misses.
Chong Man swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slater appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Chong Man throws a body punch but Slater moves out of range.
Chong Man jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slater attempts a counter takedown but Chong Man avoids it well and moves away.
Chong Man fails in his attempt to clinch.
Slater blocks a head kick by Chong Man.
Slater tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Chong Man manages to circle out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slater has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Chong Man finds it's way round the side to connect with Slater's head.
Chong Man tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slater blocks a head kick by Chong Man.
Slater is looking to counter the offense by Chong Man and move into the clinch.

Chong Man attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
As Chong Man tries to get set, Slater tries to push him back and clinch up but Chong Man manages to avoid the attempt.

Slater seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Chong Man is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
