Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brain Mclaughlin (ranked 5928 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joh Fabnik (ranked 5830 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabnik has chosen COLD as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joh Fabnik!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fabnik has Mclaughlin up against the cage in a clinch.
Fabnik lands a nice knee to the body.
Mclaughlin jumps guard but Fabnik stands there with Mclaughlin around his waist. Mclaughlin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Fabnik lands with a short shot to the head.
Mclaughlin is trying to pull guard but Fabnik turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Fabnik scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Brain Mclaughlin has been cut.

Mclaughlin jumps guard and drags Fabnik to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fabnik is looking to stand up but Mclaughlin won't let him.

Fabnik stands up and waves to Mclaughlin to follow him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fabnik connects with a single shot there.

Mclaughlin has taken the fight to the clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Fabnik.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee is keeping an eye on Fabnik - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Fabnik lands a body punch in the clinch.
Mclaughlin is breathing heavily.
Mclaughlin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fabnik walks away with a smile on his face. Mclaughlin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brain Mclaughlin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fabnik clinches.
Fabnik is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fabnik connects with a knee to the head.
Mclaughlin tries to pull guard but Fabnik won't allow it.
Fabnik comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Mclaughlin is rocked!
Fabnik lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Mclaughlin to his knees! Fabnik keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joh Fabnik!
