Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 559 p4p, 71 weight class) and Sven Hensen (ranked 903 p4p, 105 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Manu Chao - Mr. Bobby. Hensen has chosen Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon as his entrance music. Matt Black could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sven Hensen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a body punch but Hensen moves out of range.
Hensen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Matt Black has been cut.
Black checks the leg kick.
Black lands a nice hook to Hensen's body. Hensen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hensen looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Black tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hensen feints the counter takedown.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hensen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Black.
Hensen throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Black.
Hensen throws the kick towards the body but Black avoids it.
Black misses with a head kick.
Hensen appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Black throws a shot from downtown. Hensen moves away and avoids it.
Hensen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hensen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Black throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Matt Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Black. Those never looked like landing.
Black digs a good body shot into Hensen's ribs.
Black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hensen circles away quickly and effectively.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hensen.
Black lands a nice looking body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hensen tries to land a front kick but Black steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hensen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Black.

Hensen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Black is looking to regain half guard here but Hensen keeps moving and retains side control.

Hensen tries for a kimura but Black is defending well.
Black is looking for a sweep.
Black has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Hensen scores with punches from side control.
Black prevents Hensen from moving into mount.
Black struggling a bit here.

Hensen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Black, who protects the arm well.
Black can't do much from the bottom here.
Hensen tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Black gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Hensen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Matt Black's cut is getting worse.

Hensen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Black can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Black is in all sorts of trouble here.

Hensen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Black can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Matt Black's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
