The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shan Wu tries for a takedown but Cutolo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cutolo throws a right hand that Shan Wu ducks under and follows up with a left that Shan Wu also avoids with ease.

and Cutolo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Cutolo jumps guard and drags Shan Wu to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
