The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski misses with a kick to the body

and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Anderson prevents Arlovski from getting back to his feet.

Arlovski manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Anderson tries to stall but Arlovski uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Anderson wants a takedown but no success here.
Anderson misses with a short punch on the inside.
Anderson is looking to take this one to the mat.

Anderson pulls Arlovski into guard.
Arlovski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Anderson's head.
Arlovski stands up over Anderson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Anderson is rocked!
Arlovski arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Anderson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

In his post fight interview, Yuras Arlovski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
