Burns is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pápai Joci - Origo. Ori Jokinen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brady Burns!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away.
Jokinen lands a nice shot that snaps Burns's head back.
Burns looks to land a left hand but Jokinen moved out of range nicely.
Jokinen throws a hook but Burns blocks it.
Jokinen misses with a left hand
and Burns counters with a nice leg kick.
Jokinen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Burns.
Burns connects with the punch.

Jokinen closes the distance and clinches.
Jokinen jumps guard but Burns stands there with Jokinen around his waist. Jokinen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burns lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jokinen is pushing Burns up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Ori Jokinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns throws the kick towards the body but Jokinen avoids it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Burns counters with a low kick, right behind Jokinen 's knee.
Burns misses with a straight right.
Jokinen fires out a quick counter leg kick but Burns just manages to avoid it.
Burns fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jokinen manages to avoid it.

Jokinen swings for the body but Burns moves out of range.
Burns throws a good cross that connects.
Jokinen misses the body punch
and Burns counters with a thumping low kick.

Jokinen thuds his right hand into Burns's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jokinen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jokinen is defended easily by Burns.
Burns slips a straight right by Jokinen.
Burns only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Brady Burns is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Burns counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jokinen's knee momentarily.

Jokinen feints and then cracks Burns's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Burns down.

Burns avoids the head kick by Jokinen.
Jokinen fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Burns is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jokinen. Burns does a little dance to reset his feet.
Burns only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Burns scores with a punch to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jokinen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Burns manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Burns misses its intended target.
Jokinen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Burns. Burns circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jokinen moves away.
Jokinen moves in looking to clinch but Burns pushes him off.
Burns let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Jokinen misses with a hook
and Burns counters with a low kick, right behind Jokinen 's knee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brady Burns dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jokinen motions for Burns to come forward. Jokinen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Jokinen throws a right hand that misses
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jokinen connects with the punch.
Jokinen punishes Burns's body with a nice straight punch.
Jokinen misses with a series of wild punches.
Jokinen wants to clinch up but Burns keeps it at a distance.

Burns is rocked!
Jokinen loads up on a big right hand but Burns slips the punch.
Burns flicks out a counter leg kick but Jokinen steps away.
Burns is still on wobbly legs! Can Jokinen finish him?
Jokinen cracks Burns with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Burns falls to his knees and Jokinen doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
