Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sorokov counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
West is looking to take this one to the mat.
West has had enough of the clinch but Sorokov keeps him there for the moment.
Sorokov lands a hook that snaps the head of West backwards.
Sorokov is pushing West up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Sorokov works on West's body with a couple of short punches.
Sorokov has West pressed against the cage.
Sorokov blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
West is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
West tries to score a body lock takedown but Sorokov shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Sorokov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sorokov manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sorokov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed West clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sorokov is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at West. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
West just trying to survive but Sorokov is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Sorokov working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but West is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Sorokov has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! West taps out!
