Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wale Ammond (ranked 4632 p4p, 425 weight class) and Raoul Clavette (ranked 2604 p4p, 0 weight class). Ammond kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad. Wale Ammond is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clavette misses with a two punch combination.
Ammond gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Clavette is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ammond pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Ammond seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Clavette connects with a body shot that sends Ammond's belly button to the back.
Raoul Clavette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clavette uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ammond has time to react.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My spies in Pride inform me that Clavette has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ammond takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Ammond takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Clavette takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clavette content to control rather than advance.
Ammond has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Clavette is working away from the top position though.

Clavette thuds a left hand into Ammond's body.
Clavette lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Clavette goes for a double leg but Ammond avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ammond continues to drive forward.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clavette fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ammond tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Clavette manages to circle out of the way.
Wale Ammond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raoul Clavette.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Clavette, as that shot connected.

Clavette has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ammond moves in looking to clinch but Clavette pushes him off.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clavette shoots in for a takedown but Ammond shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Clavette scores with a jab. Ammond acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Raoul Clavette showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Ammond's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Ammond is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Clavette moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
