PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bang Pitung (ranked 531 p4p, 67 weight class) and George Nassar (ranked 2209 p4p, 257 weight class). Pitung comes into the arena with Bars of Death - All Cops are God blaring out of the sound system. Bang Pitung had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitung keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nassar throws a right and a left that Pitung avoids nicely.

Nassar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pitung is fending him off so far but Nassar persists. Nope, Pitung circles away and we're back to standing.

Nassar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pitung manages to avoid it.
Nassar tries to bum rush Pitung with a series of wild strikes but Pitung uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pitung has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nassar finds it's way round the side to connect with Pitung's head.
