Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Meeks (ranked 816 p4p, 117 weight class) and Junkyard Dog (ranked 812 p4p, 116 weight class). Junkyard Dog told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meeks connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dog's hands.

Dog throws out a counter right but Meeks avoids it with no problem.
Meeks throws a poor cross that misses
and Dog cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Meeks looks to land a right hand but Dog moved out of range.
Meeks pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Meeks throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Dog counter with a right hand.

Buzz Meeks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dog scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Meeks doesn't seem bothered though.
