Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Biggs (ranked 3465 p4p, 442 weight class) and Buddy Brandon (ranked 3340 p4p, 432 weight class). Brandon has chosen All Summer Long as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Biggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddy Brandon!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggs misses with a series of wild punches.
A little jabbing left from Brandon on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Brandon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brandon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Biggs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A quick step to the side and Biggs tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brandon tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Biggs counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Brandon has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brandon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Biggs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Biggs throws an overhand right that lands on Brandon's shoulder, as Brandon tries to avoid the shot.
Brandon misses with a takedown
enabling Biggs to counter with a crisp jab.
Biggs leaves Brandon with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Biggs has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite in the buildup to the fight.
Justin Biggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buddy Brandon.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brandon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Biggs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Biggs is looking to counter punch.
Biggs keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Brandon.
It looked like Biggs wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Brandon looks to clinch
and Biggs counters with a crisp one two that drops Brandon! Biggs thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Brandon to his feet! Brandon is in big trouble!
That's one minute gone in the round.
A punch lands to the side of Brandon 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Biggs lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Brandon is rocked!
Biggs fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Brandon square on the jaw! Damn, Brandon is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Justin Biggs!
