Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freak Wannabe (ranked 9087 p4p, 629 weight class) and Eli Peterson (ranked 24201 p4p, 652 weight class). Wannabe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Motherfucker. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wannabe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wannabe is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Peterson.
Wannabe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Peterson manages to avoid it.
Peterson slips a jab from Wannabe.

Wannabe swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Peterson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Peterson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wannabe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wannabe cracks Peterson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Peterson connects with a right hand. Wannabe shakes it off.
A cross from Peterson lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A clash of legs there as Wannabe blocks the low kick.
Wannabe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wannabe throws a body shot but no joy.
Peterson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wannabe throws a leg kick which misses Peterson's front leg but catches the back leg as Peterson tries to avoid it.
Peterson stuns Wannabe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Peterson throws a shot from downtown. Wannabe moves away and avoids it.
No joy there for Peterson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wannabe could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Peterson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Peterson blocks a head kick by Wannabe.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wannabe. Peterson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wannabe misses with a double jab.
Peterson tests Wannabe's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wannabe takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nice body punch from Peterson.

Peterson lands a left and a right that send Wannabe crashing to the mat, dazed. Peterson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Wannabe is rocked!

It looks like Freak Wannabe has been cut.
Wannabe is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wannabe moves in looking to clinch but Peterson pushes him off.
Oh Wannabe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peterson throws a low kick but Wannabe avoids it.
Peterson has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Peterson scores with a jab to the head.
Peterson cracks Wannabe with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wannabe tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Peterson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wannabe is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eli Peterson!
