The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson scores with a jab to the head.
Winkle with a poor takedown
and Winkle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Winkle misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Winkle! Jackson lets Winkle back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Winkle is rocked!
Jackson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Winkle at a distance.
Winkle is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Winkle walks straight into a right hand from Jackson - that's dropped him! Jackson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Winkle from any more punishment! Winkle complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Luke Jackson!
