Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raycon Figg (ranked 7266 p4p, 215 weight class) and Greg Towson (ranked 25094 p4p, 263 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Figg shoots in and gets a takedown into Towson's guard.
Figg definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Figg is working Towson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Figg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Figg is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Towson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Towson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Towson is in trouble now - Figg has advanced to mount!

Figg is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Towson is surviving well by controlling Figg's body position as best he can.

Figg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Towson can do anything to dispel that myth.
