Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corban Storm (ranked 1418 p4p, 185 weight class) and Kung Po (ranked 979 p4p, 132 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corban Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kung Po!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Storm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Storm definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Po is looking for a sweep.
Po defending against the ground and pound.
Storm cracks Po with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Storm shoots in looking for a takedown but Po manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Storm's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Storm is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Po is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Corban Storm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Storm working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's time! Storm's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Storm throws a front kick that sends Po stumbling back into the cage.

Corban Storm is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Po walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Po tries to bum rush Storm with a series of wild strikes but Storm uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Storm cracks Po with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Po does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Well Storm has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
