The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newton goes for a double leg but Marquet avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marquet continues to drive forward.
Newton shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Marquet sprawls well. Marquet wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Newton gets slowly back to his feet.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Marquet! Newton is backing up but he can't get away as Marquet lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Newton and ends the fight. Great knockout.

A relieved looking Henry Marquet thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
