Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire Jr (ranked 1913 p4p, 210 weight class) and Gus McKenna (ranked 879 p4p, 99 weight class). McGuire Jr comes into the arena with Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire Jr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
McGuire Jr slips a nice elbow through McKenna's hands, connecting with McKenna's forehead.
McGuire Jr is thwarting McKenna's attempts to control the position.
McKenna might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McGuire Jr haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McGuire Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McKenna's waist but McKenna gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McGuire Jr off to one side.

McGuire Jr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gus McKenna's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gus McKenna's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ralph McGuire Jr!
Ralph McGuire Jr really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Urban Fighter logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
